Wavemaker turns an idea into a finished video. You describe what you want — in plain language, with a URL, or with uploaded files — and Wavemaker plans the story, generates every scene, records the narration, scores the music, and assembles the final cut. You get a real, edited video: multiple scenes, camera moves, spoken dialogue, a music bed, synced captions, and a branded close.
What makes it different
Most AI video tools generate a single clip from a prompt. Wavemaker produces a complete video, the way a production team would:
- It plans first. Every generation starts with a creative strategy, a script with timed beats, and a storyboard. You can review the storyboard before production starts.
- It generates real coverage. Each scene is generated as a still frame first, quality-reviewed, then animated — so you get intentional compositions instead of random motion.
- Sound is first-class. On-screen characters speak with lip-synced dialogue baked into the clip. Off-screen narration is recorded with a designed voice. Music is generated to fit — or synced to a song you upload.
- Everything is editable. After the first cut you can refine any scene by chatting (“make scene 3 slower”, “change the closing card”) or by editing visually on the Canvas.
- Quality is enforced, not hoped for. Every image and clip passes automated review — anatomy, brand-text spelling, visual consistency, orientation, and style — with automatic retakes when something fails.
The two ways to work
Chat is the main surface: describe the video, watch it plan and build in real time, then refine it conversationally. Every generation lives in a session you can return to.
Canvas is a node-based visual editor showing every scene, asset, and step as a connected graph — regenerate a single image, swap a clip, or re-voice a line without touching anything else.
What you can make
- Ads and commercials — including frame-exact broadcast lengths (:15/:30/:60) that traffic cleanly to TV/CTV.
- Brand videos from a URL — paste your site and Wavemaker researches the brand, acquires the real logo, and grounds every claim in your actual pages. See Brand videos from a URL.
- Social content — vertical, square, or widescreen with word-synced captions.
- Explainers, product showcases, real-estate listings, news recaps, music videos and dozens more formats via Video Styles.
- A video for every product in your catalog — see Catalog Video.
