Affiliate Program Terms

These terms govern participation in the Wavemaker Affiliate Program operated by Adwave Inc. By enrolling you agree to these terms and our general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18, have a valid Wavemaker account, and complete Stripe Connect onboarding in a supported country (US, UK, EEA, Canada, Switzerland, and other markets we enable) before receiving payouts.

2. Commissions

Commissions are calculated on net revenue (gross charge minus tax and Stripe processing fees). Default rates are 30% for months 0–11 after a referred organization’s first paid event, then 10% for months 12–23. Rates and windows may be changed prospectively via the admin Pricing configuration; per-affiliate overrides may apply.

3. Attribution

We attribute via first-party tracking (`?via=` links and optional code at signup). The attribution window defaults to 60 days. Last affiliate click within the window wins; a valid code at signup is a fallback when no in-window click exists.

4. Holds, refunds, and clawbacks

Commissions remain pending for a hold period (default 30 days). Refunds and disputes reverse unpaid commissions or create negative adjustments against future payouts for commissions already paid.

5. Payouts

Eligible payable balances at or above the minimum (default $25) are paid monthly (UTC days 1–7) via Stripe Connect Transfer to your Express account. You are responsible for tax reporting; we collect 1099 information where required via Stripe.

6. Prohibited conduct

Self-referrals, cookie stuffing, trademark bidding on Wavemaker/Adwave marks without permission, spam, and fraud are prohibited. We may suspend accounts, reverse commissions, and withhold payouts when we detect abuse.

7. Termination

Either party may end participation at any time. Legitimate unpaid commissions earned before termination remain subject to the hold and clawback rules. We may pause the program globally via the affiliate program kill switch.
